Every quote covers the same six stages — permits, panel work, the wire run, mounting, testing, and inspection. Here's exactly what happens at each one.
Most installs: half a day on site, permit to sign-off in about 1–2 weeks
We review the photos and video you sent, confirm your charger placement, and pull the electrical permit with your county or city. You don't have to call anyone or sign anything at city hall — it's handled, and it's included in your quote.
What you'll see: A confirmed install date and a copy of your permit.
A licensed electrician verifies your main breaker can carry the charger and installs its dedicated breaker. If your panel genuinely can't support it, we tell you before any work starts — no surprise charges after the fact.
What you'll see: A new breaker labeled for your EV charger.
We run wiring from your panel to your charger spot — through the attic, along a wall in conduit, or trenched underground for a driveway pedestal. This is where most of the labor lives, and why placement drives the price.
What you'll see: Neatly strapped conduit or a clean trench line.

Your Wall Connector goes up at the right height and side for your car's charge port, so the cable reaches without stretching across a walkway. Exterior installs get weather-rated fittings and sealant.
What you'll see: The charger mounted, leveled, and cable hung.
We energize the circuit, verify voltage and grounding, connect the charger to your Wi-Fi, and run a full load test with a vehicle before we call it done. You get walked through the app and charging settings.
What you'll see: Your car actually charging before we leave.
We schedule the county or city inspection and meet the inspector if needed. Once it passes, your permit is closed and the install is documented — which matters for insurance and when you sell the house.
What you'll see: A passed inspection tag and closed permit.
A Level 2 charger draws as much power as an electric oven, running for hours at a time. Permitted, inspected work keeps your homeowner's insurance valid, protects your warranty, and shows up as a documented upgrade when you sell. Unpermitted work can do the opposite — and it's usually the first thing a home inspector flags.
